Tony brings a diverse set of talents to McKinstry. A registered architect in the State of Washington, he has more than 20 years experience in the architectural and construction industries, with expertise in executive management, client relationship building, and strategic marketing and business development.
As Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Tony is responsible for cultivating long-term client relationships, strengthening McKinstry’s brand identity, and reinforcing the company’s reputation as an innovator in green building technology, sustainability, and DBOM services.
Prior to joining McKinstry, Tony spent 10 years as an architect at NBBJ in Seattle and twelve years in Business Development for the Seattle office of Skanska USA Building, Inc., an international construction firm. As a Vice President at Skanska, he managed annual sales activities while establishing new branding and graphics standards for marketing, public relations, and business development.
Tony is the recent past President of the Washington State Chapter of NAIOP, a member of the NAIOP National Sustainable Development Forum, serves on the National Board of NAIOP, and is 2011 President-elect of the Seattle Architecture Foundation. He holds a degree in Architecture from Washington State University.
