About Mark:

Mark’s longstanding commitment to McKinstry and its mission plays a vital role in our company’s success. With his open and thoughtful outlook, Mark has been a significant and nimble member of the McKinstry team for nearly three decades.

Working in an industry that assembles teams to deliver projects, Mark understands the importance of relationships and their impact on outcomes. He leads his team to build trusted partnerships with our general contractors, architects, owners, consultants and other trades. With much of our work coming from consistent customers, Mark encourages his team to listen deeply, honor commitments and ultimately do the right thing at the end of the day.

Mark believes in serving our communities and dedicates time and resources to groups such as Seattle Colleges, Washington Trails Association and Safebuild Alliance. He also serves as a mentor to undergraduate students at his alma mater, the University of Washington.

“What we do is challenging. We help create and bring to life complicated systems and buildings that foster learning, spawn innovation, enhance communication, enable manufacturing, improve health and provide a multitude of other functions critical to our communities. Doing so requires a deep level of trust and collaboration with people, from our industry partners to everyone within McKinstry.”
