You work with McKinstry to design your project in a step-by-step process that increases engagement and collaboration during the earliest stages of the construction.

McKinstry becomes an integrated partner in your seamless project. The building owner, architect, general contractor and all trades work as a team with centralized planning and resources to increase efficiency throughout the entire project.

Energy projects are financed and then repaid by energy cost savings that we guarantee. Little to no upfront capital is needed for this budget-neutral approach, making it ideal for K-12 school districts, higher education and government institutions.

Energy, utilities, facility maintenance and other goods are delivered through McKinstry as a service via a long-term contract instead of as a fixed product/project. You pay for the outcome; we develop a service-based approach to make it happen.

McKinstry acts as the prime integrator, taking direct responsibility for design, sourcing of materials and on-site construction. Ideal for large-scale MEP and energy infrastructure projects to streamline procurement and provide a single point of accountability.

Engineering, design and facility optimization services are delivered as a professional service separate from any resulting construction, energy project or maintenance delivery.

You select McKinstry based on our capabilities, market expertise and overall qualifications through a competitive vetting process.

You prequalify and place McKinstry on an on-call roster of approved vendors that can be selected for projects and/or services based on the prequalification process. As the name implies, we’re on-call to handle your project needs.

McKinstry secures financing to pay for a solar or renewable energy project. You then purchase the generated energy under favorable terms for up to 20 years.

McKinstry acts as the construction manager, we take lead on the project from inception to delivery to occupancy. With CMAR, we take responsibility for delivering the project for a guaranteed max price, covering any cost overruns.

A mutually agreed upon price is negotiated directly between you and McKinstry, providing a simple and streamlined path forward.
