Our national renewable energy team has successfully developed, built and maintained multi-site, holistic clean energy solutions for clients in the commercial, industrial, property management, real estate investment trust (REIT) and logistics markets.

This includes making the most of legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act, federal, state, and local grants and local government and utility solar incentive programs.

In the past three years, McKinstry’s national renewables team has expanded to include over 20 professionals, and has been awarded projects ranging in size from 500 kW to 15 MW across 14 states. This rapid growth, however, does not change our focus. Climate Pledge Arena
McKinstry worked across design and construction teams to help deliver the first carbon-neutral arena in the world before the first game of the Seattle Kraken’s inaugural season.
Denver Public Schools
McKinstry partnered on an energy savings performance contract (ESPC) that delivered guaranteed energy efficiency and operational cost savings, upgraded critical systems and added 5MW of solar across 27 schools, totaling more than 3.8 million square feet.
