Celebrating the Superpowers of Women at McKinstry

In celebration of Women in Construction Week and International Women’s Day, we’re highlighting the strengths, skills and talents that make McKinstry women unique as people and employees. Women across the company came together to share and celebrate all they bring to McKinstry. We are excited to share the video below that showcases their superpowers.

McKinstry is committed to advancing gender equity through an intentional focus on bringing girls and women into the industry and supporting the women who are already here. Our ongoing efforts include:

Forming new partnerships to support pre-apprenticeship programs specifically directed at bringing underrepresented people, including women, into the trades.
Our comprehensive K-12 STEM mentorship initiatives in Washington, Oregon and Colorado uplift underrepresented girls and students of color and remove barriers to STEM education and increase industry access.
Our three active gender equity alliances foster inclusive experiences for women and non-binary employees at McKinstry through professional development opportunities and relationship-building.
