McKinstry Releases 2025 Social Impact Report

SEATTLE, WA — McKinstry released its 2025 Social Impact Report, highlighting its work to create greater equity and inclusion, serve communities and drive a zero-carbon future.

“In 2025, we focused on deepening our impact and embedding social responsibility into how we work every day. Across our business, teams turned long‑term commitments into real progress in equity and inclusion, community investment and decarbonization nationwide,” said Ashley Ruiz, McKinstry’s vice president of social impact. “Our commitment to social impact is steadfast because it’s tied to who we are and the future we’re helping build. Thank you to our employees, partners and communities for the work you do alongside us.”

Achievements from 2025 included 100% of electricity consumed powered by renewableenergy and 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions since our baseline year; strengthening and expanding employee alliances (employee resource groups); earning the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Equality 100 Award in recognition of LGBTQ+ inclusion; contributing 3,657 hours of community service to 78 nonprofits, as well as setting a new high for Week of Service participation since 2018; and contributing over $1.5M in charitable donations to 320 nonprofit organizations across the country including engagement of nearly 900 employees in People’s Choice, our annual employee-driven giving campaign.

“Impact shows up through the choices we make every day – how we care for our people, how we partner with our clients and how we invest in our communities. I’m proud of the progress we continue to make and grateful for the people who bring our values to life through Action for Impact,” said Dean Allen, CEO. “As we look ahead, we remain focused on building a more inclusive, sustainable future shaped by purpose, partnership and responsibility.”
