McKinstry published our first Social Impact Report five years ago with a simple premise: our work succeeds only when the people and places around us thrive. We are a private company operating in open markets that are powered by real communities. That comes with a responsibility to protect and uplift the people who build, operate and live within those markets and communities.

This report is one way we hold ourselves accountable: by sharing what we’ve learned, where we’ve made progress and where we still have more work to do. Our social impact efforts include three pillars:

• Diversity, equity and inclusion
• Climate and carbon commitment
• Philanthropy and community service

Our commitment to social impact is steadfast because it’s tied to who we are and the future we’re helping build. Thank you to our employees, partners and communities for the work you do alongside us.

Together, building a thriving planet.

—Ashley Ruiz, Vice President of Social Impact

Employees Making a Positive Difference

The Annual Impact Awards recognize McKinstry employees who rise above and beyond to forward McKinstry’s environmental and social responsibility aspirations. Award recipients have an opportunity to direct a $5,000 gift from the McKinstry Charitable Foundation to an organization that is important to them and aligns with our philanthropic priorities, as well as participate in a special community activity with our executives in the next calendar year.

“Impact shows up through the choices we make every day – how we care for our people, how we partner with our clients and how we invest in our communities. I’m proud of the progress we continue to make and grateful for the people who bring our values to life through Action for Impact. As we look ahead, we remain focused on building a more inclusive, sustainable future shaped by purpose, partnership and responsibility.”
