McKinstry’s Pledge To Own Safety

June is National Safety Month. Whether it’s following proper protocols, being mindful of potential hazards, or supporting each other in maintaining a safe environment, we all play a critical role in ensuring our workplaces remain safe and secure.

This year, McKinstry is emphasizing the significance of safety while promoting and embodying our Put People First value to ensure every person goes home unharmed. The concept of ensuring “no harm” has been adopted as a guiding principle in all our daily activities to maintain the safety of our 3,000 teammates.  

The choices we make each moment significantly impact our well-being, the safety of others, the condition of our workplaces, the functionality of our equipment and the preservation of our environment. Through our collective efforts, we will continue to understand and mitigate hazards from our jobsites and offices across the country. As OneTeam, we’ll build on our culture of safety and strive for excellence — and no harm — in all that we do.

During National Safety Month, I’m pledging accountability for safety and asking my teammates to do the same. This shared commitment extends beyond our internal operations; it reflects our dedication to the well-being of everyone who interacts with McKinstry, from our clients and partners to the communities we serve. We believe that a strong safety culture not only protects our people but also enhances the quality and reliability of the work we deliver.
