Here's where you come in: 

We are currently seeking a Building Energy Program Manager to join our Utah team as it continues to build on its growing business. In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping clients optimize facility performance and meet their climate change goals..

 

Project Management

As the Program Manager, you’ll support the Utah team’s clients in taking them carbon neutral in the coming years. You’ll be the main point of contact between our customers and engineering teams, providing oversight in auditing, design, project scope, and managing risks. McKinstry’s culture is that of transparency, communication, safety, and customer service, and you’ll be an ambassador of our culture both internally and externally.

 

Team Management

It’s vital that you take ownership in the coordination of resources to ensure proper staffing on projects. You’ll manage plans, setup budgets and schedules, and manage critical environment standards. You will be the gravity that pulls the projects together and therefore your leadership, both internally and with external stakeholders, will play a large part in the success of McKinstry’s business.

 

What we’d like to see from you: 

  • Five (5) years of Energy consulting experience required; education may substitute for experience.
  • Three (3) years of building commissioning or operational efficiency consulting experience preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Four (4) year college level training in architecture, architectural engineering, engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience required. Master's degree preferred. 
  • CEM, PE, LEED, CPM professional designations preferred.
