We are currently seeking an Associate Estimator our growing Mechanical Preconstruction team in Spokane. You will be joining a diverse group of people where you will be able to make an immediate impact and can establish yourself within our organization. A successful employee will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working independently as well as in a team environment, and have a desire to grow professionally.

 

You're great at:

Estimating

With direction from your supervisor, you will be tasked with performing subcontractor and vendor estimates. You will work closely with a Preconstruction Manager to review specifications and request for proposal (RFP) documents to determine means, methods, and levels of quality required. You will have a hand in writing scope letters, reviewing drawings, and learn to manage budgets.  

 

Communication

Communicating estimate status with Project Managers daily is a top responsibility in this position. You will succeed if you are a good listener, have self-autonomy, and enjoy learning. In addition, being detail-oriented, organized, and having self-accountability will ensure you continue to grow with our organization.

 

What we would like to see from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
  • Strong math skills and an analytical approach to project scope
  • Working knowledge of estimating software and databases
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
