McKinstry Bolsters Technical Services Business; Names New National Director, Adds Key Regional Leads

SEATTLE (April 1, 2020) – McKinstry, a national construction and energy services firm, has expanded its national and regional technical services business, naming a new National Director of Technical Services and promoting several key executives to lead the Technical Services teams in the Pacific Northwest, South and Midwest regions. McKinstry’s technical services offerings include commissioning, facility condition assessments (FCA), active energy management and other services that optimize facility operations.

Phil Saieg will fill the new role of National Director of Technical Services. He previously led McKinstry’s Rocky Mountain Region Technical Services team. Others assuming new leadership roles within the Technical Services team include Geremy Wolff, who now serves as Pacific Northwest Regional Director, Technical Services, Quinn Tolbert who has been named South Regional Director, Technical Services, and Mayur Patel who has been promoted to Midwest Regional Director, Technical Services.

“We’re seeing continued growth in the demand for consultative and annuity based technical services as building owners and operators look for more ways to unlock and leverage critical building data to improve operating efficiency and reduce costs,” said Chris Larocque, McKinstry’s Vice President of Energy and Technical Services. “We’re confident that Phil, Geremy, Quinn and Mayur are the right leaders to expand our technical services business, continue to build our exceptional team and position us to seize emerging market opportunities.”

Saieg has been a part of McKinstry’s highly successful Mountain Region having served as the Regional Director for the past two and a half years. During his eight years with the firm, Saieg’s strategic thinking, planning and actualizing have been key to McKinstry’s technical services success. He will be charged with leading and growing the technical services business throughout the U.S. by leveraging the company’s existing presence and offerings, while also obtaining new strategic accounts to increase market share in both existing and new geographies.

Wolff has been a member of the technical services team in Western Washington and will now oversee the Pacific Northwest region. During his 22 years with McKinstry, he has been integral to the growth of both the commissioning and FCA businesses. Wolff has held progressively responsible roles including commissioning engineer, lead commissioning engineer, commissioning manager, operations manager – technical services, and, most recently, business development director – technical services.

With 15 years of performance contracting experience under his belt, Tolbert will continue to play a significant role in McKinstry’s regional success in the South Region. Tolbert joined the McKinstry team in 2010 and has served as a business unit manager, sales director, business development manager and project director. In his new role, Tolbert will focus on continued growth including deeper capabilities in master systems integration, powerED, active energy management, FCA and more.

Patel has nearly 25 years of experience as a project development director, project director and project engineer, including the past 11 years with McKinstry. Patel’s results-oriented leadership approach drives him to look for new ways to improve the business and ensure his team continues to deliver extraordinary value for its clients. He will continue to grow McKinstry’s technical services offerings in the Midwest Region, with a particular focus on the commissioning, active energy management and FCA offerings.
