Marriott Hotel – Portland

The Marriott Hotel in downtown Portland incorporates a first floor containing hotel administration, lobby, and retail shops; a second floor containing the kitchen, restaurant and lounge; a third floor of meeting rooms; and 17 floors of guest rooms. McKinstry designed, configured, and installed 2–pipe fan coil units with electric reheat for the first three floors and 4-pipe vertical stacked fan coil units for the guest rooms.  We also provided smoke control systems located on floors 2-20 and the first floor lobby, plus air cooled chillers and gas fired boilers on the roof.
