Snoqualmie Casino
The Snoqualmie Entertainment Authority set out to build a state-of-the-art casino in Snoqualmie and hired Skanska as the general contractor on the project. McKinstry was delighted to be a part of Skanska’s team to install a complete fire protection system for the 171,000 sq. ft. casino and 288,000 sq. ft. casino parking garage. McKinstry installed an OH wet fire protection system in the Casino and dry systems in the garage to meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes. Challenges included a tough schedule and coordination issues for the installation of walls and GWB frames. It was essential that the McKinstry Fire Protection team provide flexibility and diligence to meet the Snoqualmie Entertainment Authority’s grand opening schedule. Ultimately, the entire team delivered a beautiful facility on time and ahead of the Casino opening.
