West Campus
McKinstry performed full mechanical design/build services for the client’s West Campus including HVAC, plumbing, and fire sprinklers; and provided expert coordination between the highly complicated schedule VS design process. In addition, McKinstry handled TCO studies for all major project decisions.
The West Campus includes four 4-story office buildings with large atriums; a large, 5,000 car underground parking facility; three food courts; and meeting room buildings. The buildings’ mechanical features include plumbing, HVAC, and fire; central chilled water plant; under floor air distribution throughout the office space; and separate chilled water systems for the labs. The client is seeking LEED silver certification for two of the four campus buildings.
