McKinstry tops list of 2010 Best Places to Work in Idaho

April 2010

Ties for 1st place in Small Company Category

McKinstry was one of twenty businesses to be honored this year as part of the annual Best Places to Work in Idaho program. Along with CBH Homes, McKinstry took the top spot in the small company category out of eight worthy competitors.

Now in its third year, the Best Places to Work program is co-sponsored by the Idaho Business Review, POPULUS, and Price Associates. Honorees are recognized for innovative workplace environments that demonstrate best practices in employee attraction and retention.

Honorees will be profiled in a special April 26th magazine published by the Idaho Business Review entitled Idaho Work Force - Best Places to Work. On April 29, the Idaho Business Review will honor the twenty companies during a Best Places to Work awards reception on the Boise State University campus. The reception is open to the public.

Top finishers were chosen through comprehensive employer reports and employee surveys. Honorees were selected from two categories: small to medium-sized companies of between 20 and 99 employees and large-sized companies consisting of 100 or more employees.  The surveys were calculated by POPULUS, a Boise-based firm specializing in survey metrics for management.
