Supportive Environments

McKinstry is committed to creating a safe and comfortable working environment for our employees.  We accomplish this goal by providing both global and individual enhancements, including Harassment-Free Workplace training, an onsite gym promoting wellness and numerous safety forums.  McKinstry also maintains the belief that if we are all working hard, we should be allowed the luxury of playing hard.  We bolster this philosophy by providing fun internal events such as our annual Holiday Party, Safety BBQ, Theme Celebrations and Employee Appreciation Luncheons.

McKinstry also recognizes the importance of benefits within the walls of our office. As a result, we have recently completed the construction process of an expansion we call "McKinstry Commons." Portions of this build out have the look and feel of a downtown Seattle coffee house, complete with a large fire place, library, latte machines and comfortable seating areas for McKinstry employees to utilize on lunch/breaks or as a meeting alternative to conference rooms. Also included is a large conferencing center, computer based training facility, multi-use space and a deli. Mezzanine seating overlooks a courtyard in the center of the Commons.
