A complete mechanical system including HVAC, plumbing and fire was installed in this 13-floor, 380 room
hotel. 250,000 square feet makes up the
Westminster Westin along with a 50,000 square foot conference center. The hotel consists of a complete kitchen, servery, restaurant, ballroom, pool, laundry and banquet areas. 4-pipe VFC's serve the hotel lobby, hall and guestrooms. A rooftop VAV serves the conference center/banquet facilities. High-rise fire/life safety pressurization strategies were used.
This Westin Hotel was the first high-rise structure in City of Westminster. The use of "Sovent" plumbing in the hotel tower required a significant city review process before acceptance. |
