The Marriott Hotel project took up a quarter of a city block within downtown Portland, Oregon. The hotel incorporates one full floor of hotel administration, lobby and retail shops. The second floor contains the kitchen, restaurant and lounge. The third floor consists of meeting rooms. These three floors are served by two pipe fan coil units with electric re-heat. The guest rooms (floors 4-20) are served by four pipe vertical stacked fan coil units. There are smoke control systems located on floors 2-20 plus first floor lobby. The air cooled chillers and gas fired boilers are located on the roof. |
