For more than five years McKinstry designed, budgeted, studied, compared, investigated and constructed a new state-of-the-art stadium. This stadium is one that all other stadiums will be compared to. Stadium Facts:
seating capacity 72,000; parking:
2,000 cars in adjoining garage, 3,000 surface parking stalls and 20,000 within walking distance; 118
suites, accommodating a range from 12 to 30 patrons; 10,000 premium
club seats with access to the enclosed club; 2 club lounges that stretch almost the entire length of the football field;
club restaurant/bar located on club level with the ability to serve
2,500 patrons at once; 46 food concession stands available to the public; 2
state-of-the-art scoreboards; 400 television monitors, many will be
HDTVs; state-of-the-art sound system and an underground turf heating system for optimum year round growing conditions.
This was the first mechanical design build stadium in the nation. Delivering the pre-fab, materials and equipment on time and when needed was key to a successful installation. |
