A 500,000 square foot convention facility covering nine square blocks featuring 150,000 square feet of exhibit hall, four 25,000 square foot ballrooms, 28
meeting and conference rooms, and the largest food preparation kitchen in Oregon capable of serving 5,000 people.
The project also included:
4 Chillers with 2,650 tons capacity
2 Atmospheric hot water boilers with 21million BTU’s of combined capacity
29 Air handling units
40 Exhaust fans (over 1million cubic feet of air per minute)
The mechanical equipment is distributed throughout the eight fan rooms and one chiller room. The lobbies, ballrooms and meeting rooms have over 1˝ miles of slot diffusers for air distribution. |
