McKinstry provided full (plumbing, piping, sheet metal, fire and controls) mechanical installation for this prestigious University Of Washington project.

Mechanical installation included fully welded stainless steel fume exhaust to over 200 variable volume fume hoods, variable volume fume exhaust controls, custom built-up floor-by-floor 100% OSA air handling units, hazardous storage exhaust and extensive laboratory piping systems for over 150 fully equipped work benches and all fume hoods. HVAC and lab piping was racked as can be seen in the picture to the right and 2,500 lineal feet of racked piping was pre-fabricated in 20 foot modules, resulting in tremendous labor savings.
