This high profile project consisted of significant additions and modifications to the exterior envelope assembly of the Bell Street Pier (a.k.a. the Central Waterfront Project). The systems and products for this addition were consistent with those of our original installation, including metal cladding, glass and glazing, structural stud substructure, as well as all accessory trims and flashings.
The purpose behind this modification was to convert areas of the Bell Street Pier to a state-of-the-art cruise ship terminal. Now cruise ships sailing between Seattle and Alaska will have a comfortable and convenient Seattle port facility. Who better to provide the exterior envelope than McKinstry/Roberge whose skills and capabilities were already well proven on the original Bell Street Pier project back in 1996. |
